Arm Progress!

Tuesday was a big day for Spence...he shrugged his left shoulder.......THANK YOU Joanne! Next time you see him ask him a question he does not have the answer to...and maybe you will see the shrug!! Today was also a great day, Spencer went to 1st grade and had a sundae party with his pen pals courtisity of Uncle Mike and Bliss brothers. Needless to say yum for all. They are very special to us, he had a letter every week that he was sick....and we still get great letters. They are such sincere and caring childern Words cannot describe how amazing Mrs. Doherty and her 26 students are.

Sitting here thinking of a question that Spencer wouldn't know the answer to and we are finding it quite difficult. Too smart for your own good! Please just laugh and throw a shoulder shrug in there for us!

Donna, thanks for calling, sorry I missed it. Our daughter's name is Lauren Elizabeth. Check out the blog at: www.MassTV.com.

A Joke or two for some "shoulder shrugging" laughs...

A driver was pulled over by a police officer for speeding. As the officer was writing the ticket, he noticed several machetes in the car. "What are those for?" he asked suspiciously. "I'm a juggler," the man replied. "I use those in my act." "Well, show me," the officer demanded, still a little unsure. So he got out the machetes and started juggling them, first three, then more, finally seven at one time, overhand, underhand, behind the back, putting on a dazzling show and amazing the officer. Just then another car passed by. The driver did a double take, and said, "That's it Maude. I've got to give up drinking! Look at the sobriety test they're giving now!!"

One more...

A woman and her husband interrupted their vacation to go to the dentist. "I want a tooth pulled, and I don't want any pain killers because I'm in a big hurry," the woman said. "Just extract the tooth as quickly as possible, and we'll be on our way."
The dentist was quite impressed. "You're certainly a courageous woman," he said. "Which tooth is it?" The woman turned to her husband and said, "Show him your tooth, dear."

WOW. I haven't been here in so long, I'm soo sorry! Finals were kicking my.....well, you know. I was busy with finals, and term papers, and boring stuff that you don't have to worry about.

I'm so happy that you're home, Spence! It will definately help you get better by being surrounded by all the people that care about you. Not that nurses and stuff don't care, but...you know what I mean. These finals and papers are taking away my ability to use English.

Keep on truckin', Spence!

Ok- so I was wondering what happened to the blog!--

So glad to hear that Spence enjoyed the 1st graders - as for my 1st grader - Max can't stop talking about it. I am so glad Patti Jo got them involved and writing to Spence. Kids have a way with words. As always we still think about you all the time Spence and continue to watch you grow stronger everyday.
Much love - the Dunderdale Fam.
